

Andy travels the world as a VFX supervisor, and has begun to step behind the camera, bringing his unique skill set to projects for clients like CVS, Facebook and Sesame Street. Andy has worked on projects for every Agency and with brands such as AT&T, Facebook, Samsung, U2, Maybelline, Toyota, Neutrogena, Schick, Wendy’s, Lowe’s and Kraft, to name a few.

For the past 14 years, he has been the Director of VFX at LVLY (formerly Spontaneous), one of New York’s leading visual effects, design and animation shops. Andy has spent his entire career in New York, working in shops both large and small. These experiences behind the camera strengthened Andre’s appreciation for every aspect of filmmaking, advertising and VFX artistry.įor over 20 years, Andy Milkis has been creating amazing things with Flame. During this time, he worked on a number of short films including Josef Et Aimee and official TIFF selection Lost In Motion as well as his own project, “Squares”, which was shown at Cannes. Andre has also been recognized as a DP – he won Best Cinematography in Toronto’s 48-Hourįilm Project for his work on the short film “In Bloom”.

His credits include viral commercials and music videos such as Samsung’s “Surf - The Snail,” Four Year Strong’s “Just Drive” and Lorde’s “Greenlight.” He also led visual effects on Drake’s viral “Hotline Bling” video – his team completed 120 visual effects shots for the project within 72 hours.Īfter graduating from Ryerson University in 2009, Andre jumped right into directing and leading VFX in his native Toronto.

His career has seen him work with a range of global brands such as Samsung, Apple, Ford, VW, Capital One, Vanity Fair and Hulu, with prominent directors such as Paul Hunter, Dougal Wilson and Director X. Andre Arevalo is a Senior Flame Artist at MPC, joining the LA studio in 2016.
